Rhythmic Foundations: Monthly Beginner Drumming Program
Experience the benefits of drumming, self-expression, creativity, and play.
No previous drumming experience is necessary.
Some Djembes are provided or bring your own.
Progam Focus:
- Learn West African Ensemble rhythms, Global Grooves & accompaniment parts on World Percussion; claves, bells & shakers – infused with your own creativity and unique ‘voice’
-Develop basic hand drumming (Djembe & Dundun) techniques
-Gain confidence playing in a group; listening, communication and leadership development
-Having FUN and connecting with yourself and others through music

Rhythmic Expansions: Intermediate Drumming Program
This program is designed for those of you who have basic hand drumming (Djembe) experience and are ready to expand rhythmically & technically, while doing so playfully.
Continue to experience the benefits of drumming, self-expression & creativity at the next level. Some Djembes are provided or bring your own.

By participating in the Beginner Drumming Program in addition to the Rhythmic Expansions, you will have the opportunity to:
* Share the joy of drumming with your friends and family – 4 guest passes provided
* Showcase the rhythms that you have been learning
* Gain experience assisting ‘new bee’ drummers with technique and rhythms
* Be part of a larger drumming community
